Echoing the classic adventure of Don Quixote, Skiff, AJ and Maggie embark on a journey to the sacristy which they must complete before 1st Holy Communion Mass begins, withou getting caught by the nosy Sacristan. Along the way, they discover what the Sacrament of Holy Communion is all about, and that clapping coconuts sound like a galloping horse.

The Altar Gang-When a very busy and holy priest begs God for help with his many parish dutes, God answers him by breathing on the sacred objects used in the Mass and bringing them to life. Dubbed the Altar Gang, they eagerly help Father prepare for Mass and in the process discover the lessons of the weekly Sunday Readings.
Join Skiff the Incense Boat, AJ the Aspergillum, and the Gang as they learn about the Mass and the Gospels through stories, music and silly adventures. The rest of the Gang includes Pete the Chalice, Mary the Ciborium, Pablo the Paschal Candle, Maggie the Bells, Thomas the Thurible, Big John the Baptismal Font, Mo the Ambo, James and John the Altar Candles, Cecilia the Music Stand, Guido the Organ, and Mimi the Altar Cloth.
